Japanese designer Masaya Hashimoto has brought the shoe industry to the next level!
Italian shoe maker Vibram, more commonly known for its military footwear, has come up with its Furoshiki Shoes that promise you the most impressive adjustable shoes ever!
Inspired by — and named for — a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth used to package and schlep stuff around, the shoes have no laces. Instead, their stretchy fabric panels are welded to a rubber sole and wrapped around the foot. The kicks, which were created by Japanese designer Masaya Hashimoto, can be worn with or without socks.
The shoe sports an anatomically-designer sole which promises to accommodate all foot shapes without sacrificing grip or comfort, and was originally designed for use in the water sports.
These one-of-a-kind shoes can be bought from the Japanese Vibram store for about $140 USD, and come in five colors.
