Stop Hurting People On Line!

Whatever she was trying...she got pretty bad comments! Why?

Sitting in front of a screen can make you feel safe and powerful...but in any case that doesn't give you the right to be so judgmental or even cruel to another human being! Social media is a blessing yet a curse...what I mean is that they have the power to bring people together but at the same time they provide with negative power some people's hands that can hurt or even make other people want to hurt themselves!

Here is a great example of that power!

When Em Ford of My Pale Skin began posting videos of herself online without makeup, the Internet responded in the most terrible way. Among the 100,000+ comments she received were some of the most hate-filled words anyone could imagine. The comments that strangers made about her face were so awful, they sent Em into a tailspin that drove her away from social media. She questioned her own beauty and self-worth...all because of cowards who cut her down.

...But then, she had a profound epiphany. It was so incredible, she documented her experience online in a truly moving way. Her bravery will put tears in your eyes.

I think this young lady is beautiful with or without make-up. The ones who say ugly things will never be beautiful and will never be happy with their life. She is a beautiful woman and that has less to do with what her skin looks like or how much makeup she might wear. Our beauty comes from within and it shines out and comes through from our heart. Social media has made it too easy to say things we would never say to someone's face.

Be the reflection of who you are inside. Hold your head up and be the person you want to be. Don't worry about what others say. I know that's hard to do, but keep your face to the sun!
