Animals and humans have been forming bonds since the dawn of time. However, occasionally a bond is formed that is unlike any other. It can sometimes be shocked by seeing humans become friends with lions or sharks who are described as being robust and animals deemed dangerous. However this friendship is something else and even beyond shocking!
As unbelievable as that sounds, this footage shows a kid clearly enjoying time with a real - life stingray! And guess what? The stingray even responds playfully, letting the youngster pet it and even flapping its pectoral fin into the water at some point!
There are several different types of stingrays, found in a variety of sizes and shapes. The species is divided into eight separate families.
Stingrays are almost never aggressive, but their stinger is poisonous and will be used as a weapon if the ray feels threatened.
We knew that humans often fond of pets. They often become friends with them and share more than love. However, I have never seen anything like it! It is too big for me and kinda terrifying as its stinger is too close! I can only think that it only takes a split second for this to turn tragic, and can happen with any wild animal.
Whether or not it looks like this "ray" trusts the boy, if this happened to be a sting ray, he could have ended up tragically. Just because he thinks he knows what he is doing, that doesn't mean he does or things always go to plan!
