Have You Thought Of Yourself In The Future?

When you're young everything seem beautiful and innocent! You have that sense that you'll stay forever young... So you take many things lightly, but you're wrong!

You will not stay forever at 30's! And if you are not careful, your 50's will not be a very pleasant experience. So now that you are young take care of some things so that you can enjoy also the more mature phase of your life!

1. DON’T SMOKE
Smoking is a bad habit and only problems can cause you. So make sure that you will never start it or if you already smoke it is time to stop it immediately! And as a picture speaks a thousand words ... take a look to the lungs above...! Did that ring a bell?

2. STOP EATING CRAP
There are many things that you can buy with money...but there is one thing that you can't...and unfortunately is the most important...Health! So improve your food habits before it is too late for your body!

3. MAINTAIN (OR REPAIR) RELATIONSHIPS WITH PARENTS AND SIBLINGS
It is pretty understandable that we cannot harmonize well with all our relatives or even close family. We all are different people and personalities but we have to be reconciled with our family! When all is said and done, these are the people who love us unconditionally and they can forgive every misdemeanor we may do! They'll be there to comfort us, support us and give us strength...but the problem is that this won't be happening forever...so make peace now!

4. STOP GOING OUT IN THE SUN WITHOUT SUNBLOCK.
Who wants a damaged skin? Full of blotches, wrinkles and in general a very sensitive and fragile skin? Keep going then stay for ages under the sun during the summer and soon enough before even being 50 your skin will be so aged that you'll look at least 60! Make sure you buy a sunscreen with a high sun protection factor and you won't forget it in daily basis!

5. EXERCISE REGULARLY
You can establish a workout. Improve your physical condition and thus prevent fat accumulation in your body. Create the conditions for a healthy body that will continue to be your ally in the mature phase of your life!

6. START SAVING MONEY. EVEN IF IT’S JUST A TINY BIT.
It may sound a bit weird in nowadays to be able someone to save even the smallest amount of money...however this is a must do! Literally this means a good control of your finance, which is always necessary!

7. LEARN TO BE CONTENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE.
Don't let the doom and gloom surround you! You have to be satisfied with the things you have. Don't waste your time and life with bad thoughts and calculations such as "Why don't I own this or other?"

8. DON’T DELAY PURSUING YOUR LIFE GOALS.
You want to write a book? To learn to play a music instrument? To do something out of ordinary? I really wonder what make you hesitate...maybe is what we call procrastination! Make a list with all you the things you want to do and start making them a reality!

9. GET SOME SLEEP.
Who said that the drinks and all- nighters are not nice? But if we do this constantly, we damage ourselves! Put a plan in your sleep and make sure you rest for a few hours so as not to harm yourself. Staying awake for no reason for a long time has an impact on our long-term health!

10. TAKE CARE OF YOUR TEETH.
Make sure you take care of your dental hygiene in daily basis, so as your teeth would be in the best possible condition! Of the one part you will be saved by a lot of trouble having to go to the dentist (paying a great amount of money and suffering a lot of pain) and on the other hand you may save yourself from the nightmare of aging...What I mean? The dentures of course!

11. COLLECT MEMORIES INSTEAD OF THINGS.
Alas if you reach the age of 50 and you realize you haven't done anything that you've been dreaming of! So now that you are still young try to make your dreams come true! Create beautiful youthful memories!

12. GIVE SOMETHING BACK.
Social work is a contribution that every young person (and not only them) can offer to the community. So make good use of your strength, mind, talents and time to help other people in need! It will definitely make you a better person!

13. BE CURIOUS AND DO ONE THING THAT SCARES YOU EVERY DAY.
Fear is an insidious feeling! It sneaks in us and prevents us from doing things. It closes us like the turtles in our protective shell. But we must not! Make a decision and fight what frightens you! Make it your target to fight a fear per day ... How; By daring of course!

14. READ AT LEAST 10 BOOKS A YEAR.
Our brain never stops developing! And what we do about it? We spend a lot of time watching TV or playing computer games. Big mistake! A book is a treasure. It is formidable source of knowledge and incredible exercise for our imagination. A goal of 10 books a year is not something impossible! We just need to take the decision and open the first one!

15. TRAVEL. AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, WHENEVER YOU CAN.
Pack your things and travel where your mind decides and your finances allow! Journeys are life-giving and you learn things about life and people. Think also that now is the right time, otherwise later on, if acquisition of family obligations is in your life, it will be difficult!

16. LEARN TO MEDITATE.
The list of daily responsibilities is inexhaustible. The modern pace of life is boisterous and highly stressful. So do something for you: train yourself in meditation. A few minutes to communicate with yourself, are able to fill up your batteries and to arm you with courage and strength for a busy day!

17. DO YOU.
Self-knowledge is a path that takes time and effort. The age of 50 is not that far ... so now you have to begin to discover yourself, to believe in you and of course to appreciate your skills!

18. KEEP A JOURNAL.
It may appear to you as childish, but it is not! "Imprison" your memories in a beautiful album. Fill it with your own texts, photos, clippings and everything else you want. It will be your own personal diary from your special trip in life!

19. BECOME A HOMEOWNER.
May be it is the most difficult and the most expensive goal by all, but you must envisage and look up! A house bought at 30 - even with a loan - you own it entirely at 50! Dare it!

20. TAKE CARE OF YOUR FRIENDS.
We are social beings. We need someone to guide us in the right path. Friends are one who are suitable for this job. They inspire us to live.

Define friendship or friends as trust, understanding and I believe that we in our lives need someone whom we can trust or someone who believes in us. It is not just sharing joy and sorrow and helping each other but it’s a big responsibility to know that person and understand his/her feelings and moreover to trust them and believe in them. You don't become friends with a person in a month or so. It may take months and even years to get to know this person and to trust them. It is the sign of maturity and moreover some way or another, our life depends on it.
Well what do you think? It's time to do something for our future don't you agree? My suggestion is that you start from those easy ones and one by one get them all done! LOL
