These Visitors Had The Most Unexpected Holiday Surprise! Awesome!

Last week the United States Air Force Band surprised visitors of the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. with a special holiday flash mob.
The holidays are a busy time of year for the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum. Kids have lots of field trips to attend, loved ones visit from out of state, and families just want to spend time together. There’s no denying it’s the BEST time of year!
Taking advantage of the crowdy period, the United States Air Force Band wanted to kick off the holiday season with a real bang and they made it! Many people believe the misconception that military bands are all pomp and circumstance, but as you’re about to see, they definitely know how to have some undercover fun. Enjoy!

Giving a smooth and unexpected performance took a lot of meticulous planning and coordination, Senior Master Sgt. Robert Kamholz said, so the band began preparing their winter surprise in July. The first steps were finding the location and scheduling the proper time in the band’s busy schedule.
The result was perfect and I must admit that it was a great surprise for all the visitors! Holidays are close and it is really sweet to watch such surprises!
