Her Voice Is Magical...It's Like Hearing At Least Two Instruments Playing Together! Awesome!

Vocalist Anna-Maria Hefele demonstrates her remarkable overtone singing ability in this informative video. Overtone singing is a voice technique where it seems like one person sings two notes at the same time.
I recommend to hear her with your eyes closed...It's like hearing instruments playing and not a person!
Watch Hefele show off her perfect control, as she is able to sustain one constant low note, while simultaneously singing a high-pitched scale. It seems impossible that the sounds are coming from just one woman, and Hefele vocal control might leave you wondering if she is even human.
This is achieved by manipulating the resonances (or formants) created as air travels from the lungs, past the vocal folds, and out of the lips to produce a melody. The partials (fundamental and overtones) of a sound wave made by the human voice can be selectively amplified by changing the shape of the resonant cavities of the mouth, larynx and pharynx.
But she is not new to the craft. Hefele has been studying throat singing since 2005, and is a classically trained singer who plays instruments like the harp, mandolin, piano, didgeridoo and Schwegel.

She is unique!
