A friend of the couple who founded Home Instead Senior Care, Mary Maxwell was asked to give the invocation at the company's 2009 Convention. At first, her presentation starts like a normal little prayer, but it soon takes a hilarious turn when she hijacks the microphone for a more personal chat with God about the topic of growing old.
Though she does ask the blessing, she also delivers a hilarious speech on aging gives a light-hearted look at the changes we will all will inevitably face.
With the comedic timing of a famous comedienne, Mary deadpanned her way through the entire speech, cracking the audience up over and over again.
Mary shines a very funny light on the foibles of aging, to the absolute delight of her live audience!
