He Was Taught Compassion And Kindness.

We need more human beings like this!

Over the past five years, Qdoba employee Ridge Quarles has gotten to know one particular customer. Though her identity is unknown, what we do know is that she is confined to a wheelchair, she loves Qdoba, and she’s become a regular customer at one Kentucky location. She usually sits and waits outside the restaurant until someone notices her and lets her in.

One day Ridge Quarles took it upon himself to go above and beyond for this disabled customer who has become a regular at the restaurant on Hurstborne Parkway.

The woman was dropped off one day by a bus that helps people with disabilities. Quarles helped her as usual, getting her through the line, sitting her down at a table and getting her napkins and utensils. Then he asked if she needed anything else.

That’s when she kindly asked if he would help her eat.

Quarles didn't hesitate. He put on a pair of gloves and held the woman's food as she took small bites. Another customer, Dr. David Jones, was touched by the moment and recorded the kind gesture on his cellphone.

Watch the video below to find out what a wonderful young man this is...It brought tears to my eyes, I love it when kind people get the recognition they deserve, makes me proud!

Ridge has since left Qdoba for a full-time job elsewhere. He says he got very close to some of the regulars in his time there. He attended birthday parties, and was even invited to attend a wedding of two regular guests.

God bless this young man....his compassion is his best virtue!

This uplifting, heartwarming story went viral.

Life is tough enough for the handicapped...we can all be that person, and we all need to strive to be that person, to approach the loving kindness of that young man!
