Family Lives With Self-Sufficiency ... And With Profit In L.A.! Wow!

Always wanted to grow your own vegetable but were concerned about the outcome?

The Dervaes family from Los Angeles comes to put an end to any doubts you might have, setting an example to anyone who wants to make their own garden with vegetables or whatever other kind of plants.

It is striking that the family members have been able to live from their own farm, which they have filled with animals in a town so inappropriate for such an effort.

Annually they produce about 4,300 pounds of vegetables, 900 chicken eggs, 1000duck eggs, plenty of honey and many kilos of seasonal fruit. In their private garden they grow more than 400 plant species. The family has everything that they need to live exactly as they like. They have everything they need to ‘live off the land.’ From beets to bees. Chickens to chickpeas.

Using their business savvy, the Dervaes sell their excess, reaping a profit of about $ 20,000 a year. And of course not difficult to find customers, as most prefer the homemade products in their diet. There are plenty of restaurants that aks for their purveyance.

"In the beginning I thought my garden is not big enough for what we wanted to do. I asked the advice of experts, looked at sites and informed of all the options. Anyone who has a similar idea is able to do it and definitely will not lose, "explains the family hostess.

According to many researches about the planet's future...the population is growing dramatically which literally means that in the near future we all are going to run out of food!
