I knew horses are beautiful and grand but these...are absolutely SUPERB!

Horse is the most beautiful and graceful animal on the planet. In this post are showcased some beautiful pictures of stallions and mares which are particularly majestic horses for inspiration. You will be speechless watching their unusual coloring, markings, and manes.

Horses and humans interact in a wide variety of sport competitions and non-competitive recreational pursuits, as well as in working activities such as police work, agriculture, entertainment, and therapy. Horses were historically used in warfare, from which a wide variety of riding and driving techniques developed, using many different styles of equipment and methods of control. But beyond that, these horses are so unique!

1: The golden Akhal Teke
The hair structure of Akhal-Tekes is quite fine and rather unusual. Their “glow” is caused by the smallness, or even absence, of the opaque core that is typically at the center of the hair shaft. The transparent part of the hair, or medulla, takes up the extra space and acts much like a fiber optic tube, bending light through one side of the hair and refracting it out the other side.
This beautiful breed is most famous for the shimmer of their coats. Akhal-Tekes actually come in a wide variety of colors, ranging from a black that radiates a blue or purple sheen to a beautiful dappled-grey to a vibrant Mahogany Bay

2. The Friesian/Appaloosa Crossbreed
It's like watching a dalmatian with a horse head, isn't it! His amazing pose gives the opportunity to admire every detail of his unique coat!
As it turns out, the EXACT horse photographed above has been famous ever since this picture of him as a foal surfaced online...
His name is Mystic Warrior. He's 3/4 Friesian and 1/4 Appy stallion was a demo horse at the World Equestrian Games! This little guy came a LONG way!

Here's Mystic Warrior all grown up...
According to the HorseAndMan.com, Mystic Warrior's humans would like to see Mystic Warrior go to a good home that will keep him a stallion, so he can pass his traits and color on for generations to come. If that means more beautiful crossbreeds, I'm 100% behind them!

3. The Knabstrupper
Knabstrupper horses were bred in Denmark as far back as 1671 when they were called "The Tiger Horses." In 1750, this royal breeding line came to an end.
These awesome spotted horses returned in 1812, not as the "Tiger Horses," but with a new bloodline. A mare was purchased from Spain with distinctive, silver-dollar sized markings. Her colt was the foundational Sire for the new spotted breed...Seeing spots has never felt so good!
It's pretty easy to see how some folks confuse these beauties for Appaloosas, though their markings are often more saturated!

5. The German Black Forest Horse
According to Wikipedia, the Black Forest Horse, or the "Schwarzwälder Kaltblut," is a rare draft horse breed originating in southern Germany. All I know is that his mane and tail PERFECTLY compliment his super shiny coat.
This beauty has the longest, lushest blonde locks you could ask for, don't you think?

6. The Blue Roan Gypsy Vanner Horse
Easily recognized for their leg feathering and common black and white or "piebald"coat color, the Blue Roan version of the beautiful Gypsy horse is

7. The Chocolate Silver Dapple Pinto
A lush mane and an extraordinarily bold coat make this horse a regular show-stopper, but perhaps most unique are the star-shaped dapples on his front end.
This gorgeous guy's name is Austin. It goes without saying that this unique boy is a show horse!

8. The Friesian-Gypsy Vanner Crossbreed
As this horse walks it can also wipe your house! LOL! But he is really gorgeous, although as you can see he needs a lot of care to keep his hair straight and clear!

9. The Sorraia Mustang
The Sorraia horse is an endangered South Iberian wild horse, also known as a Sorraia mustang.
Characterized by a coat that's somewhere between grey and brown, these majestic wild horses are some of the most beautiful on the planet.

10. Cremello Tennessee Walking Horse
While not as rare as some of the other horses on this list, this cremello is a blonde beauty.
Check out those baby-blue eyes as well!
So remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But I have to admit and I think you will too that these are really gorgeous, rare beauties!
Horses have graceful movements, the trot, a two-beat bouncy run, a canter, a three-beat gracefully and incredibly smooth fast run. And the gallop, a breath-taking 4-beat full out run. Every horse has a different personality and extremely sweet and loving and breath-taking. Personally I love riding horses and I love them very much!
