Student befriends campus squirrels, takes their pictures with hats and props she made for them

Mary Krupa is a Penn State student who runs the Facebook page for “Sneezy The Penn State Squirrel.” She says in an interview that there are actually four squirrels who serve as “Sneezy,” but unless you’re a squirrel whisperer, you’d never know they’re not all the same critter.

Krupa dresses her rodent friends with custom-made hats, sunglasses, and headphones to curiously bring them into a human world they’re already a part of thanks to the scraps of college students’ food that comprise much of their diet. The holiday and seasonal outfits and props add an entertaining element to a series that’s equal parts amazing, amusing…and creepy…
